ABACUS Preamp 14 – High-end preamplifier with advanced signal processing
The Preamp 14 is a high-quality stereo preamplifier designed for demanding hi-fi and home theater systems. With six analog stereo inputs, flexible connectivity, and the proven load-independent ABACUS output stage, it ensures clean and stable signal transmission – even over long cables to active loudspeakers.
The input section offers excellent flexibility: two inputs support both balanced and unbalanced signals, while additional line inputs are available for conventional audio sources. The unit also includes a built-in phono preamplifier for moving-magnet cartridges. An optional Aroio streaming module can be integrated for network audio playback.
A key feature is the AudioVero Cleaner. This innovative function reduces uncorrelated noise artifacts from digital sources, improving spatial imaging and overall listening comfort. The result is a more precise stereo soundstage and clearer detail reproduction.
Thanks to the home theater bypass, the Preamp 14 integrates seamlessly into multi-channel systems. The front channels of an AV receiver can be connected directly while maintaining the high-quality signal processing for stereo playback.
