Mastering-grade transparency
Satori is a true analog monitoring and summing system. A Japanese Buddhist term referring to enlightenment, Satori is designed to deliver an 'epiphany' experience to the sound engineer. Antelope's renowned relay-controlled stepped attenuator, the extremely versatile connectivity options and great selection of stereo effects such as mid-side monitoring, place the Satori among the most advanced monitoring controllers in the world, equally suited to both commercial and project studios. Satori expands upon the acclaimed design architecture of Eclipse 384 – Antelope's award-winning mastering AD/DA and monitoring controller. Carefully designed analog circuits and fast, transparent relay attenuators ensure the audio integrity throughout the whole signal path.
Stepped relay attenuator with precision accuracy
Satori employs advanced, quiet gold-plated relays and precise resistors to facilitate fast, responsive level attenuation, without sacrificing excellent sonic performance. These relays achieve 0.05 dB stereo accuracy and stable L/R balance even at lower volume levels. The pristine, attenuator signal path fully preserves audio signal integrity while revealing even the most subtle nuances.
Analog summing functionality
In addition to providing outstanding monitoring capabilities, Satori includes a fully analog 8-channel summer. Analog summing allows engineers who work completely “in-the-box” to mix signals in the analog domain for a more natural blending of instruments. The summer inside Satori maintains punch, headroom and excellent dynamics, while offering the analog sound usually found only from legendary analog consoles.
Analog sound with digital control
The exceptionally clear sonic performance of Satori is derived from advanced analog circuit design. But the flexible and accurate control capabilities are made possible by Antelope's next generation of software control panel technology, which has opened the door to a whole new generation of analog devices, such as the Satori Monitoring System and MP32 32-channel mic preamp. For Satori this means fast and responsive source and speaker output switching, accurate remote volume control and also Mute, Mono, Dim, Mid/Side monitoring. The Satori Control Panel also features stereo peak meters for instant signal visualization.
Headphone amps and talk back
Surpassing most monitoring controllers, which offer one or two headphone outs, Satori features four independent headphone amps ready to provide several band members their own, unique input feed with independent volume control. Satori's headphone drivers are audiophile-grade and are the same as those used in Antelope's premium line of high-end home audio converters, able to drive both low and high impedance headphones.
An abundant number of I/Os
Satori provides a generous amount of connectivity options. No other 1U monitoring system has eight stereo inputs and four stereo outputs and features such a comprehensive choice of connections: XLR, ¼'' TRS and D-Sub 25. Satori also boasts a subwoofer output and four ¼'' independent headphone outs.
Sleek and functional front panel control
Large warmly-lit front panel buttons and an ergonomic aluminum volume knob provide the user with elegant and fast management of all major monitoring functions. The result is a powerful state-of-the-art device that still feels user-friendly and simple to operate.
Features:
A complete palette of inputs and outputs
Precise stepped relay volume control
Four independent headphone outputs with dedicated volume controls
Analog Summing allowing easy mixing
Extremely flexible routing
Analog sound with digital control
A user friendly desktop application available for both Windows and OS X

MA2CHBOX.XL is a reference class headphone amplifier for MADI (AES10) and AES3 signals. The device features three MADI ports, an AES3 port, a headphones output and a stereo line level output.
Any stereo pair or single mono channel out of three MADI streams or the AES input can be routed independently to either headphones, AES output or line out. The AES input signal may also be embedded into the MADI stream.
All-Round
MA2CHBOX.XL offers highest flexibility for MADI monitoring and line checking as it provides three interface standards for MADI:
optical SC (single-mode or multi-mode)
coaxial (BNC)
SFP
The Small Form Factor Pluggable cage can be fitted with any SFP module suitable for the customer’s application. A port routing offers independent output feeds for each MADI output.
Remote Control
The integral USB port allows for firmware updates, serial data embedding and remote control for extended features, e.g. an internal routing matrix. A channel based routing can be defined through a remote control software and stored inside the device.
External Monitors
The MADI signal from the mixing desk is fed to MADI 1. The selected channel pair is output at the stereo line out / AES3 port feeding (analog or digital) studio monitors. A laptop is connected at MADI 2 out for recording. MADI 3 could additionally be used to monitor another input signal or for output of the mixer signal.
The CMC3 Compact Monitor Controller consolidates the feature sets of Drawmer's 3 most popular monitor controllers: Whilst retaining the famed accurate, and transparent audio quality of the MC2.1, it has the precision and control of the MC3.1 and the low profile, compact design of the CMC2. It is equally at home in a serious home studio as in a professional recording facility. There is one thing that should always be absolutely guaranteed - that you can rely on the accuracy of your monitor controller. Drawmer monitor controllers do not flavour, colour, warm, improve or brighten the signal, the active circuit has been designed to faithfully produce the audio signal whilst removing many of the problems that a passive circuit will bring. For all Drawmer monitor controllers it is imperative that what you record is exactly what you hear.
Accurate & TransparentWith the same Drawmer pedigree as the MC2.1, the CMC3 circuit is just as transparent and accurate. It has been designed to remove the limitations that a passive circuit brings, such as the ability to increase the volume for quiet passages and improved mix checking, without adding the artifacts that lesser quality active circuits introduce. PrecisionThe CMC3 supports 3 sets of stereo monitors, plus a dedicated mono speaker/sub-woofer output, each can be switched individually and simultaneously and in any order, especially useful for A/B comparisons. The sub-woofer can be used with multiple speakers, or turned off altogether.
The volume control utilizes a parallelled custom quad pot for excellent channel matching and smooth feel, as does the secondary preset volume control on the front. This provides repeatable calibrated output level for the monitors, so that at the flick of a switch the engineer can hear the mix at the same predetermined volume, time after time, without having to meticulously adjust controls. Multiple ConnectionsThe CMC3 is very well connected with 4 stereo inputs in total: 1x SPDIF digital input (24 bit/192kHz), using the same DAC chipset as the established MC3.1 monitor controller, 2 stereo balanced jack inputs, plus a 3.5mm jack with variable level control for Smartphones/MP3 Players.
In addition, it has a 2 professional quality headphone outputs with a separate amplifier and level control, that provide the same audio quality and mix checking as the CMC3 does through the speakers. Talkback is also included with internal or external microphone, level control and audio routing to a dedicated mono output jack & headphones. Advanced Mix CheckingThe comprehensive mix checking facilities of the CMC3 include dim, mono, phase reverse, left and right cut as well as an easy access mute switch, allowing to check the quality of recordings: tune into the mix to hear any unwanted artefacts, test the effectiveness of the stereo mix, check for phase cancellation, listen to the stereo difference. Features that many monitor controllers lack. CompactThe CMC3 packs a lot of features into a small unit. The whole package is presented in a very low profile desktop enclosure of just 3.5 cm high with a footprint of 27 x 16 cm.Tough & SecureWhilst being smart and stylish the rugged, all steel enclosure will withstand the knocks and bumps of the studio, and, coupled with the high quality components used, the CMC3 is built to last. In addition, a Kensington security slot provides protection from thieves.
