The Acme Audio Motown EQ is an authentic recreation of the legendary Motown equalizer, of which only 48 original units were ever made. Developed with the guidance of Motown Chief Engineer Mike McLean, the original is considered one of the most iconic tools in the history of Motown Studios.
This 7-band graphic equalizer features a transformer-balanced signal path and an integrated gain make-up stage. Every component in this reproduction has been carefully selected or custom-built to match the sound and behavior of the original. An authentic piece of recording history, now available for modern studios.
