The MixCube Active are active mini reference monitors that have been specially developed to realistically reproduce the sound of bass-reduced consumer devices such as smartphones, laptops, TV speakers or radios. They help to check mixes for suitability for everyday use and ensure that a mix sounds consistent on all systems.
Equipped with a 5.25" driver with cast aluminium frame and paper/mica cone, the monitors offer precise and low-distortion reproduction. The integrated 60 watt Class A/B amplifier has been designed with oversized components and offers high reliability and sufficient headroom.
The closed MDF housing minimises unwanted resonances and is lined with Dacron damping material. A 7 mm neoprene layer on the underside ensures acoustic decoupling and slip resistance. In addition, the MixCubes have an integrated ⅝" tripod thread, which enables flexible set-up options.
Thanks to the combined XLR/TRS inputs, the monitors are compatible with professional and semi-professional studio environments. Thanks to their compact design, they can also be easily integrated into cramped setups. The MixCube Active is available in the colours black, cream, red and white.
