Get twice the pump for just 1 RU on traditional equipment racks with the Powergrid Duo from Empirical Labs, a 2-slot 500-series rack chassis featuring two H-PUMP VCA compressors in recessed slots for a flush, professional look. These two H-PUMP compressors offer eight compression ratios from 2:1 to 20:1 and a Stereo Link switch for powerful stereo dynamics processing.
The attack section provides speeds from 0.2 to 40 ms, while the release section allows 50 to 500 ms release times and an opto-coupler-style release. Additional features include a 70 Hz high-pass filter, a saturation soft clipper derived from the Mike-E, comprehensive gain reduction metering, bypass, digitally stepped controls, and a unique attack modification (AtMod) feature adapted from the Arousor plug-in. I/O includes XLR 3-pin and 1/4" TRS balanced connections, and the chassis provides a ground-lift switch for each module to eliminate unwanted hum.
