Many Gainlab Audio users have reported that the Tube Boost is the most frequently used feature on their devices. Inspired by this feedback, the Gainlab Audio GLA-TS1 Wizard Stereo Tube Saturator was created to provide fully adjustable tube saturation suitable for a wide range of production scenarios. Input and Output controls allow users to adjust the saturation level to match the character of the source material and personal taste, with further refinement via the Feed function, which suppresses the clean signal content for additional control.
As a tube-based device, the Wizard naturally includes Bias control. It also allows shaping the tonal character of the saturation with a high-pass filter and a three-band preset equalizer. The device provides visual feedback for output levels and saturation, while the Pressure control offers dynamic shaping using a vari-mu principle, complete with a dedicated indicator.
