The Lavry Quintessence is a high-end DAC that builds upon the legendary DA924, exceeding it in transparency, accuracy, musicality, and dynamic range while adding advanced functionality. It features dual stereo XLR outputs (Main and Monitor) with +18 and +24 dBu peak levels, and intuitive analog volume control for the Monitor output with ¼ dB steps over an 80 dB range. Fine calibration of Main outputs is possible in 0.1 dB steps for a ±0.7 dB range. Inputs include two AES and one SPDIF, supporting sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz, with independent monitor volume memory for ABX comparison. Additional functions include BAL/UNBAL, Mono, Polarity Inversion, and customizable illumination. The unit now ships with a Volex V-Lock latching AC power cord.
