Product information "Merging Technologies DA8V3P (Premium)"

8 Channel D/A Card for Hapi Mk III – Premium Version

The DA8V3P is a high-quality digital to analog card with 8 output channels for use in Merging Hapi Mk III devices. As was proven in numerous tests, this DA8V3P card is the quietest multichannel D/A converter available on the market. Its impressive specifications include a typical dynamic range of 125 dB (> 128 dB A-weighted) and THD+N below -116 dB. The low phase noise oscillator circuitry contributes to the exceptional clarity and stereo imaging of analog signals by minimizing both jitter and wander. Additionally, the DA8V3P incorporates an analog mute circuitry and provides protection against spurious transients occurring during sample rate changes and power cycling "clicks" and "pops", which can damage not only speakers but also the listener's ears. With a noise floor of less than -125 dB, the DA8V3P provides ultimate analog output quality for any monitoring system. The Premium card DA8V3P has superior specifications and supports sample rates up to 352.8 kHz (DXD) and 384 kHz as well as bitstream formats up to DSD256.
