Eight-channel microphone preamp with discrete technology
The P8 features eight identically designed microphone preamps. All eight preamps are built discretely – without ICs, using individual transistors. This level of craftsmanship is typically reserved for high-end preamps and is key to delivering outstanding sound.
Each of the eight preamps has an analog gain control for adjusting the preamplification, individually switchable phantom power (48V), a PAD switch, a phase inversion function, and a switchable analog high-pass filter.
With the optional eight-channel ADAT converter, the purely analog P8 can be digitally connected to an audio interface.
The P8 paves the way for high-quality multi-channel recording sessions.
